Odisha Police SI Recruitment 2025 has been announced for the posts of Sub Inspector in Odisha Police, for which the application process will start from tomorrow i.e. 20 January 2025. Candidates who are graduates can apply for SI posts. To apply for Station Officer Fire Service posts, it is mandatory to be a graduate in Science or Engineering.
There is good news for the youth dreaming of a government job in the police department. The Odisha government has issued recruitment for the vacant posts of Police Sub-Inspector. According to the notification, the application link for this recruitment will be activated tomorrow i.e. on 20 January 2025. After this, the candidates will be able to fill the form by visiting the official website odishapolice.gov.in through online medium to join this recruitment. The last date for filling the application form has been fixed as 20 February 2025.
Graduate candidates eligible to apply
To participate in this recruitment, it is mandatory for the candidates to have passed graduation in any stream from a recognized university. To apply for Station Officer Fire Service posts, one must have passed graduation in science or engineering.
Along with educational qualification, the minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and the maximum age should not be more than 25 years. Candidates coming from reserved category have been given relaxation of 5 years in the upper age. Keep in mind that the age will be calculated keeping in mind 1 January 2024.

How will the selection be done
To be selected in this recruitment, candidates will have to pass the written examination (OMR based). Candidates who are successful in the written test will be considered qualified to participate in the next stage of recruitment, Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
In the written test, all the questions asked from the candidates will be objective type multiple choice questions. 1 mark is fixed for each question. There is also a provision of minus marking in this exam. 0.25 percent marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
