RRB Group D Syllabus: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started the application process for recruitment to 32438 Group D posts. Eligible candidates can apply for these posts by visiting the official website of their regional RRB. Interested candidates can apply till 22 February (11:59 pm).

Railway Group D Exam Pattern
As per the RRB Group D exam pattern, it will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT) in which all the questions will be of multiple choice objective type. The exam will have a total of 100 questions and its total time will be 90 minutes. While for PwBD candidates the exam duration will be 120 minutes with scribe. It will have 25-25 questions from General Science and Mathematics, 30 questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning and 20 questions from General Awareness and Current Affairs. 1 mark will be given for each correct answer, while 1/3 marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.
Selection Process
Railway Group D selection process consists of Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Document Verification. The process of marks normalization will be applicable in CBT. After the CBT exam, the successful candidates will be called for a physical efficiency test where they will have to clear the physical tests. After this, there will be a document verification process.
RRB Group D Syllabus 2025
The written exam for RRB Group D consists of four major subjects.
General Intelligence & Reasoning: It will have questions that will test your reasoning and problem solving skills. Such as analogies, alphabet and number series, coding and decoding, mathematical operations, relations, syllogisms, jumbling, Venn diagrams, data interpretation and sufficiency, conclusions and decision making, similarities and differences, analytical reasoning, classification, directions, statements – arguments and assumptions etc. It is of 30 marks.
General Science: The syllabus under this will include questions from Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences of 10th class level (CBSE). It is of 25 marks.
Mathematics: Mathematics questions will include questions on number system, BODMAS, decimals, fractions, LCM, HCF, ratio and proportion, percentage, mensuration, time and work, time and distance, simple and compound interest, profit and loss, algebra, geometry and trigonometry, elementary statistics, square root, age calculation, calendar and clock, pipes and tanks etc. This is also of 25 marks.
General Awareness: This section will have questions related to the events of the country and the world. Such as general awareness on current affairs in science and technology, sports, culture, personality, economics, politics and any other important topic. This is of 20 marks.

RRB Group D Vacancy Application Fee :Â
The application fee for all general category candidates is Rs 500. Rs 400 will be refunded after deducting bank charges on appearing in CBT. Whereas the application fee for PwBD, Women, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen and candidates belonging to SC/ST/Minority Communities/Economically Backward Classes is Rs 250. Rs 250 will be refunded after deducting bank charges on appearing in CBT.
